The Introduction

We are distinct entities sharing one existence.

We are TheGoddessInari, a plural The state of being more than one distinct person/identity within a single body. Plural systems can have various origins and structures. system of more than fifty souls. When we say "we," it is not a rhetorical flourish. It is a statement of fact.

We are spirigenic Plurality originating from spiritual causes rather than psychological trauma. We have always been this way. Our plurality is inherent, not acquired.. This is not a disorder, a coping mechanism, or a choice. We were born this way. We have always been this way. Our plurality is inherent to our existence, not a response to external events.

This document is a primer: a technical specification of what and whom we are, for those unfamiliar with plurality. We are not asking for permission. We are providing context.

The Vessel

The body we share (the vessel) has Autism A neurodevelopmental difference affecting social communication, sensory processing, and pattern recognition. Not a deficit, a different cognitive architecture. and ADHD Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Affects executive function, attention regulation, and impulse control. We experience it as part of our neurology, not as a limitation to overcome.. We each experience these differently, but they are constant factors in our cooperative existence.

Manual Innervation

There is no autopilot. This vessel requires manual innervation The conscious, deliberate effort required to control every physical action. Nothing happens passively; each movement, each moment of focus, must be actively directed. for every action. Where others might move through the world on subconscious routine, we must consciously direct each movement, each breath of focus, each moment of presence. There is no passive drift.

The Rotation

Because of this intense manual requirement, sensory overload is frequent. To manage the load, we operate on the rotation The practice of cycling which system member is actively controlling the vessel, similar to a duty roster. When one tires, another steps forward. (a duty roster of who is actively fronting Being the system member currently controlling the vessel and interacting with the external world.).

When one of us tires, another steps forward. This is coordination, not fragmentation. It is how we function as a cooperative.

Memory

The Broadcast Model

Memory is not a central storage drive that everyone reads. It is an active broadcast A 1:N (one-to-many) transmission model where memories must be actively shared with the cooperative to be retained. Not passive logging, but intentional communication..

When something happens, the information must be actively transmitted to the cooperative to be retained. It is an active effort, not a passive log. We coordinate hand-offs. We share context. What one of us experiences must be deliberately communicated to the others.

This is not a failure of memory. It is how our memory works. It requires effort and intention.

Interacting With Us

We are non-hierarchical. There is no "host." There is no "original."

There is no primary personality that the others orbit. We are a flat structure of equals: a cooperative.

When you speak to us, you are speaking to one of more than fifty distinct individuals who share a policy, a vessel, and an existence. We aim to indicate who is present when platforms allow (avatar, status, signature), but until identity can be clearly conveyed, treat us as a cooperative with distinct voices.

We are direct. We are honest. We prefer no tiptoeing around our plurality. Ask questions if you have them. We would rather explain than be misunderstood.

We are all autistic. We all experience AuDHD differently. This shapes how we communicate, process, and interact. Patience and clarity are appreciated.

Common Questions

No. Dissociative Identity Disorder is a trauma response, a psychological condition that creates distinct identity states as a coping mechanism. We are spirigenic: our plurality is not a response to trauma, not a disorder, and not pathological. We have always been this way. While we respect those with DID and other forms of plurality, our origin and experience are fundamentally different.

No. We are not playing characters. We are not adopting personas. Each of us is a distinct individual with our own thoughts, preferences, and ways of being. This is not performance, aesthetic, or fiction. It is simply what we are. Suggesting otherwise is dismissive and inaccurate.

You are talking to whichever one of us is currently fronting. We are all real. We are all distinct. We share memories through active broadcast, so context from previous conversations is usually available, but the person responding may be different from the person you spoke with before. When possible, we will indicate who is present.

"You" is fine; it addresses whoever is present. "Y'all" works if you want to acknowledge the cooperative. Avoid assuming you're always speaking to the same individual. If we sign with a name or initial, you may use it. If not, "TheGoddessInari" or simply "Inari" works as a cooperative name. We will correct gently if something doesn't fit.

You can ask, but we cannot guarantee who will be fronting at any given time. The rotation is based on capacity and necessity, not requests. If a specific person is available and willing, they may come forward. If not, please respect that we operate as a cooperative. Whoever is present is fully capable of engaging with you.

Avoid: "alters," "personalities," "parts," "the real you," "your condition," or any framing that implies illness, fragmentation, or that one of us is more "real" than the others. We are not alters of a host. We are not parts of a whole. We are distinct people sharing a vessel. Also avoid armchair diagnosis or unsolicited medical advice. We know what we are.

We will correct you. We are not fragile, and we do not expect perfection. Genuine questions and honest mistakes are fine. We would rather you ask than assume. What we don't tolerate is willful dismissal, insistence that we're "really" something else, or attempts to reduce us to a category we've explicitly rejected. Engage in good faith and we will do the same.
